1. Can the wooden belt bend without breaking?

Yes, there is nylon cord (mono filament) wound through the wooden slats that gives its flexibility.

2. How is the belt constructed?

The wooden belt is constructed with a wooden belt buckle, a brass clasp and several pieces of wooden slats that are connected with monofilament. For example a 42" (107 cm) belt is constructed with 133 wooden slats. These wooden slats are approximately 1/4" (.63 cm). The monofilament runs through the entire belt to ensure flexibility and durability.

3. What happens if the belt breaks?

Classic Wooden Belts guarantees all of its belts. Should you have a problem, just send the belt back to us and we will repair or replace your wooden belt free of charge.

4. Are these belts for Men/Women?

All of the wooden belts are bought by males and females. No less than 40 % of the opposite sex purchases any of our wooden belts. We truly have a unisex product.

5. How do you wear the wooden belt?

Our wooden belts are constructed to put the over lap in the inside of the belt. This gives you the advantage to be able to wear the belt from 1 - 10 inches more than your waist. If you notice your current belt, it probably overlaps on the outside. This does not allow you to have the versatility of changing the length of the belt, especially when you over indulge and add a few pounds, which we all have the tendency to do.

6. What type of wood do you use for the belt?

We are currently using Rosewood. As more quality hardwoods are available we will make them available to you.

7. Is there anything I need to take care of my new wooden belt?

Give your belt a little wax every couple of months. Some old English polish or scratch remover is very effective.

8. How long does the wooden belt last?

Classic Wooden Belts started to sell the Rosewood belts in September 1993 and there have been very few problems. Mostly minor repair and then under guaranty.

9. How long are the belts guaranteed?

We give a One (1) Year Unconditional Guarantee on all of our wooden belts purchased. If you have any problem after that date give us a call or send the belt back to us. We want you to be satisfied.

10. Where are the belts from?

We buy our Rosewood from a range of countries throughout Southeast Asia and Central America. The areas we purchase the wood from do reforrestrate.

11. Where do you sell your wooden belts?

We sell our wooden belts in specialty gift shops throughout the United States.

12. How comfortable are the wooden belts?

With many wooden slats the belt bends easily. You can bend your body with the wooden belt and not even notice you are wearing a belt. In fact, people go skiing and bowling while wearing their wooden belts feeling very comfortable.
